Advanced Kailua Insulation was founded in 2015 by insulation professionals who saw a clear gap in the local market. Hawaii homeowners needed contractors who understood windward Oahu conditions - the salt air, the persistent humidity, the older post-war housing stock, and electricity bills that are already high before a poorly insulated attic makes them worse.
Kailua sits on the wet side of the Ko'olau Mountains. The rain keeps everything green, and the moisture is relentless. Homes near Kawainui Marsh, down toward Lanikai, and throughout the residential grid deal with conditions that mainland insulation methods were simply not designed for.
